GORGEOUS products at AWESOME prices... and if you do Bridal or Floral...

this is the place for you. The products are just stunning!
 https://goneartsy.zibbet.com/

I am here today with an altered pillar candle. This would make a Holiday themed wedding perfect. All in gold with a touch of bling that makes me think of a snowflake. This would make a lovely centerpiece for the guest tables or the bridal party table.... or take it a step further and purchase a taller pillar candle and create this for the Unity Candle. I simply wrapped the candle with the gorgeous 2.75" Gold Embroidered Lace - Cream... the design in this lace makes me think of snowflakes Next I took some gold ribbon from my stash and wrapped it around the candle as well and made fluffy bow. I added in pieces if the Ivory Satin Rose and Faux Pearl Garland and two of the adorable Pearl White Venice Lace Flower Trim folded then in half twice and attached them to the ribbon and garland trim. Lastly I placed a beautiful piece of the Pearl I Rhinestone Star Embellishment.... EASY and so ELEGANT!!

Also pictured...

Cut the scalloped sections of this trim and wrapped it around the neck of the candlestick

The other day I did a Ring Pillow using some of the gorgeous products from Gone Artsy ... well I scored a great find with a Flower Girl basket... and the cool thing is it matched so well to the pillow... I was EXCITED too! So I added some of the GORGEOUS Orange Elegant Lace that is new to the shop. I cut out some the beautiful embroidered flowers and glued them to the basket, like I did the pillow. Next using some of the netting of the trim I also added it in the floral arrangements I did on each side of the basket. Then I added in some of the White Ostrich Feather Trim...as I did the pillow.   Next I added the same color and style of mulberry flowers. I then added onto the front a piece of the beautiful Clear Faceted Glass Crystal Rhinestone Dangle Embellishment from Gone Artsy.
This set is great for any wedding... especially a beautiful fall wedding!

Today I am here to share an elegant Fall wedding piece...
A Ring Pillow. My daughter picked this up for me while out and brought it to me.
She said I figured you could alter it up! She is so awesome... lol!
It was beautiful... but it needed more. It came with a nylon flower and some bling. I thought it would be perfect for this project... and the options were endless. But I knew I wanted to add some the GORGEOUS Orange Elegant Lace that is new to the shop. I cut out some the beautiful embroidered flowers and glued them to the pillow. Next using some of the netting of the trim I also added it in the floral arrangement. Then I added in some of the White Ostrich Feather Trim... I am in love with this stuff, plus I love feathers. It is so awesome to work with! Next I added in an array of mulberry flowers and I took apart the bling rhinestone spray that came on it it and placed the pieces throughout the flowers. Lastly I added the beautiful Metal Pearl and Crystal Rhinestone Heart Ribbon Slide from the shop!!

This month at Gone Artsy it's Macabre/Halloween theme.... So for Today I have an simple centerpiece inspired by the ones we are doing for a Halloween Dance. I thought these would also be great for a Halloween themed wedding... easy, simple and very decorative. Using a piece of stemmed glassware I made my own vellum shade from a pattern I found and the printed pattern is a free printable.. it came orange but with my Windows Live Photo Gallery I changed it to Back and White. I then cut apart the beautiful Ivory Cotton Embroidered Lace Trim from Gone Artsy and added the scalloped piece to the bottom of the shade and another section of the lace around the top of the shade. Next I added some small black flatback pearls to the center of the lace around the top. Added a piece to the top of the cute skeleton along with a cute ribbon rosette... looks like a Barret.. hehee!

The fun bottle is from Miriam's Craft Supplies... and I just added a cute label to it that I resized using my CAMEO... FUN FUN FUN!!... Next I tied some raffia around the stem and dropped in a battery operated tea light candle!

**Note: I used glossy accents to attach the lace to the vellum

Hello Carfty Peoples!!!

Scrappin' Madge is such an awesome gal and I am so happy to be apart of this cool celebration. Now to celebrate and honor her today I have created a Birthday Card for her!
This was inspired from a pic I accidentally ran across by Designs By Katie Tate from Both Sides Of The Paper... so a BIG thanks to her for the inspiration! This card was sooo sweet and I felt very fitting for Scrappin' Madge because of the BIG she has!!!
 ~~**~~**~~**~~**~~
Using some awesome 6x6 paper a friend shared with me and some COREdanations
card stock  for the mat and some way cool corrugated card stock I became to make my card!

I used some BEAUTIFUL dollies I received from Dee at Elegant Embellishments... TY DEE!!
Some awesome Stretch Lace from Gone Artsy... which is like my FAV! A gorgeous handmade flower the lovely Leslie Owens creates... I love these so much I only use them on special projects!

I next cut out a heart from cardstock, sprayed it with some Lindy's Stamp Gang I purchased from Angela Holt Designs... I rubbed Gesso in random areas and sprayed again... next I ran it through my FISKARS crimper. Then wrapped with some lace I also got from Dee at Elegant Embellishment moons ago and some cool bling I bought from my friend Christina!!

I created the sentiment using my CAMEO...  I used Tim Holtz' VINTAGE PHOTO all along the edges of just about everything!... and lastly I added the cute button.

~~**Shabby Chic...... GONE GEEK**~~

Hey Crafty Peoples!!

Back again with another project for Gone Artsy!
If you haven't stopped by the store yet... you don't know what you're missing!!!
GORGEOUS products at AWESOME prices... and if you do Bridal or Floral...
this is the place for you. The products are just stunning!

This month we are doing GEEK!... lol!
Today I have a fun Geeky cell phone cover I did. I seen something like this on pintrest and thought, hummm! So I took some old peices of Lego's I had here of my nephew's... he lost over half of them...lol, and create one myself with a bit of a twist. Alot of folks know I love vintage and Shabby Chic... so why not combine the two! Using the Tansparent Hard Plastic iPhone 4 &4S Case I randomly glued the Lego's onto the case. NOTE- I gessoed the back before adding the Lego's!

Next I them completely gessoed over all the Lego's and let dry over night. Next I used some Lindy's and Tattered Angels sprays... i wasn't sure if I like this... so I then took my brush and worked the sprays around and I liked how the "numbs" of the Lego pieces popped. Then I added some of my FAVORITE lace... the Ivory Crochet Ruffle Stretch Lace. Then i added the NEW Double Row Peachy Rose Mini Rosette Trim... LOVE THIS!... and last I had to bling it up with this oh so cute Pearl & Rhinestone Rounded Corner Bow in Ivory, and a beautiful  Faceted Glass tear Drop Jewel. Now... who said GEEK couldn't be girly too!...
FYI- I loved playing with Lego's when I was a kid... hehehee!

That final piece of bling in the left bottom corner that I didn't mention, sold out almost immediately Deb is working on getting more of those so keep watching the store if you like it... and let me tell ya you are gonna like it... it is STUNNING!!!

~~**Geek Inspired Bridal Shoes**~~

Hello Crafty Peoples..

Here at GONE ARTSY we are doing GEEK MONTH! So using the Urban Term- "geek does not have to be smart, a Geek is someone who is generally not athletic, and enjoys Video Games; Comic Books; being on the internet, and etc.”… My favorite T.V. show came to mind… BIG BANG THEORY! So while looking through some pics I found the coolest high heel shoes and theme weddings are the rage now… so why not a Geeky wedding?!?!? I got these shoes at a yard sale with an altering project in mind. So why not use them for this! Now, ya know you have a vision of something, yeah well mine ended up taking a whole different direction…lol! So anyway… my Geek Wedding Bridal shoes or rather shoe, because after I finished one I realized I only had one of these beautiful Metal Interlocking Crystal Rhinestone Buckles turned out better than the original direction I was going. So now I must get myself another to finish the other shoe… hehehee!

I covered the shoe with some cool Marvel Comics material I purchased at my local fabric store, painted the sole and heel with high gloss enamel paint, I ran some black ribbed ribbon through the buckle and attached it to the top of the shoes. Next I added stripes of the Silver Toned Diamond Wrap Mesh Bling all around the shoe to give it a more finished look!
Now when I get the other shoe completed I will show the pair together too, but I think these will be perfect for that Big Fat GEEK Wedding that any bride would want to have who loves comics!

BEFORE!!!... Just one of the shoes!

~~**~~**~~**~~

AFTER... again just one!
