Now, onto my project today...
I created a wall hanging using the the Sweet Stamps Tropical Fish Silhoutte (Large) Stamp and the Pinque Peacock 3/4 Fabric Covered Buttons w/Metal Accents from the April Product Release for bubbles. I did a tropical scene using Gelatos, pearls from a broken necklace I have recycled for other uses, raffia, lace, rhinestones and faltbacks from Miriam's Crafting Supplies also for bubbles. The silk flowers I used made me think of Sea Anemone... where Nemo lived... hahaha! I added a dolphine charm, some sea shell charms and another 3/4 Fabric Covered Button from Pinque Peacock. I stamped on some swirls using a metal swirl clip and then added glossy accents over them... made a loop from tulle for the hanger and then a metal anchor charm.
Hope you enjoy my project!!! :)

An Altered Ginger Jar!!... featuring Pinque Peacock Products

TGIF!!!!
Yep the weekend is here...
Today I have have an altered jar I am
going to use for a centerpiece for the
4th of July. We have a huge gathering
every year on the 4th. It was a holiday
my Dad ALWAYS loved... and after he
passed away I knew I wanted to keep
that tradition going. I am using a ginger
jar that once housed a candle from
Home Interior... Loved their stuff! Once
I burned the candle up I knew what I
wanted to do with the jar. I thought I
had a pillar candle on hand, but I will have
to add that later on... so my project is
minus the candle :(. I took an tied on 3
different styles of lace. The NEW June
Release PINQUE PEACOCK products are
amazing... so using the Fabric Splendid Swirls
and added a buckle w/a flatback and
added it to the center. Next I used the
and one of the GORGEOUS Beaded Stick Pins...
along with some mulberry flowers and
leaves, seimans, and a star charm. Next
I took newspaper and cut out some stars
and distressed them. I used mod podge to
adhere the stars on. Put some blue stones
in the bottom, which I will also leave in
and work around the candle... and here ya gooo!

I hope you enjoyed my project for today
and be sure to hurry on over to
Pinque Peacock and check out
all the NEW RELEASES!!

Father's Day Card!!!

Hello Followers!!!...

Today I have a Father's Day Card using the
June Special Tag Printable at Tsunami Rose Designs!!!

For my project...
I used the houndstooth embossing folder and
embossed a piece of a package backing to
another embossing folder that I had taken out of
its package. Then I used sand paper to rough it up.
Next I used distressing ink (Vintage Photo) to give
it a two tone color. I made my sentiment on my Cameo,
distressed the edges and curled up the ends to give it a
"wave". I then used the Tsunami Rose Designs
one of my favorites!!! I used a ribbon trim that I got
in some "Happy Mail" that was handmade and I
love, from ribbed ribbon a lace trim and metal findings...
IT IS SOOO COOL!!! Then added a metal antique
bicycle, round and square brads (the square brads to
the left made me think of cuff links), and a metal clothes
hanger clip. On the inside I resized the coin envelope
that comes with the June FREEBIE to fit a gift card.
Lastly, the sentiment on the inside I added over one of
the tags using my Cameo... this is an awesome
machine and I love using it with all of the
printables from Tsunami Rose Designs!

Thanks so much for stopping by and hope you enjoyed my project!!
Hurry on over to the shop and get your FREE tag
set w/a $5.00 purchase... AWESOME DEAL!!!
