Its Derby fever here in my hometown... so this month at Gone Artsy we are doing Derby Themed Projects. Here I did a fun horseshoe banner perfect for a simple and fun Derby event. I cut the horseshoes shapes out using my Silhouette CAMEO die cutter. Next I altered the horseshoes using the Signature Champagne Glass Glitter Medley - GA641 and the Gold Fusion Glass Glitter - GA630. This stuff is so cool! I added in and cut apart some of the Butterfly Dangle Lace - GA280 cause of the fun dangle to add some character. Next I added some scrap pieces I had left over of the Off White Faux Pearl Garland Trim (GA294). The leaves and the pearl sprigs are from my stash. I embellished with one of the Real Feel 1.5" Soft Foam Ivory Roses Set of 12 (GA382) and two of the Real Feel 1.5" Soft Foam Pink Roses Set of 12 - GA380I used some of the jute cording from the Prima Marketing Gypsy Cord 5yd Analetta - GA903 to join each horseshoe together. Then I added scrapes in between each one with the May Arts Ribbon 2.5" Cotton Blend w/Vintage Inspired Rose Garden - GA364 and of the 5 yards of Seam Binding - Cameo Beige. Using my CAMEO I designed, printed and cut the WIN, PLACE & SHOW flags and added them in!

NOTE: Many of the scrapes and extras used on this project where from the Vintage Roses and Lace Purse Kit that you can also find in the the Gone Artsy Shop.
