~~**Stick Pins**~~ using products from Pinque Peacock

Hello crafty peoples!!!...
I hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July :)... I sure did! Summer Fun with sand, sun and a holiday weekend with fireworks! Speaking of summer fun, I joined to do a stick pin swap with the theme being summer. Now, I have never done stick pins before until NOW! And with our awesome QUEEN'S help her at Pinque Peacock, who by the way creates AWESOME stick pins, I was able to get through them with her advice... so Thank You so much Jessica with all the help! I used beads, spacers and all the needed supplies from Pinque Peacock to create these pins. Jessica has a WONDERFUL assortment of beads, stones and pearls to work with. Stop by Pinque Peacock's BEAD BUFFET to order yours. In addition she carries a huge assortment of stick pins to your liking. I love large stick pins so I chose to use the hat pins in the Nickel 6 inch to do mine!... Now onto the assortment of beads. Since the theme was summer I went with a butterfly theme....

***TIP: I got this egg tray from a yard sale... and it made for a great tray to seperate the beads while I worked to put them together. Also, I used glossy accents to glue them!!!

AND.... here they all complete on the cards I did using digital printables from Tsunami Rose Designs, a sentiment I printed and cut out (part of a poem I found about summer and butterflies). I attached the printable to corragated cardstock I tore and distressed with vintage photo distressing ink!!!

Not to bad for my first time ever creating stick pins...lol!!!

  1. Awesome stick pins, Rhonda! I've been wanting to try my own, too. Question? Where do you glue? Just at the bottom? All the way through? You know where to find me!
