Today I have a cute DIY Project to share...
I seen this project on my Facebook a few weeks ago
and thought it would be fun to make... so I made
one and I had a lot of fun with it. While thinking
about doing a project I thought one of these would
be tooo cute to glitter up... sooo I did!!! First you start
with a popsicle stick, but I used a Jumbo Stick used
for crafting. You soak them in water overnight and
then boiled them for 30 minutes... this makes them
more plyable to bend and shape. I then shaped it
to the inside of a glass and let it dry for several days...
you can also dry it out by microwaving. I then coated
it with mod podge and then used the PK Glitz "Tropical Rain" ...
this color is GORGEOUS!!!... After it dried some I
carefully went back over it with more mod podge to
"seal" the glitter. I added some mulberry flowers that
I also added the glitter too... the flowers needed something
and when I added it to the roses it really pulled them and
the bracelet together. Next I added lace, seimans, some
feathers, a beautiful button from Miriam's Crafting
Supplies. I thought this would be cute to give my
mother to wear and have on Mother's Day when
I made it... so that why I added the crown
charm... because Mom's are Queen's!!!
This color is also available in the assortment
"Popsicle Stick Bracelet" that inspired me to make
another at my YouTube ---> http://youtu.be/9SuD2Hn6JxE
