3D Christmas Ornament ~ an Angela Holt Design using the "Christmas Gift" Printable Journal by Tsunami Rose Designs

 

Howdy Everyone...

 

Well, Christmas is almost here and today

I am showing off a Christmas

ornament I made for an

Ornament Swap over at Scraptastical Kreations!!

 

I REALLY enjoyed making this ornament.

The design is by Angela Holt Designs...

if you haven't seen her work... your missing out!!!

She has some awesome designs she creates...

you can also check out her

and be inspired just like I was!!! 

 

The ornament pattern is by Design on Cloud 9...

called Pretty Ornaments!

 

AND lastly... the paper is our very own printable by

TSUNAMI ROSE DESIGNS... the printable design is

just one of many from the "Christmas Gift" printable journal.

For my ornament I used the ornament #2 SVG pattern of the

Pretty Ornament Pattern from Designs on Cloud 9...

After I cut out a total ten ornaments I then embossed them

with the Swirls embossing folder and distressed the edges with

Tim Holtz' Vintage Photo distressing ink! I then glued the ornaments

 together added raffa, a red and white gingham check ribbon, roses

(the red ones, were white and I sprayed them with

Inkadinkado Spray Ink~Raspberry),

prima leaves, added metal fixings and a snowflake brad.

Then I used an eyelet to run raffa for the hanger!!!

 

 

Now,... I can't wait for my ornament partner to see it....

sure hope she likes it :))
