Happy Wedding Wednesday DIY'ers...
This month we are doing Vintage here at Gone Artsy!!!
So I have done a Vintage Inspired Ornament. A perfect wedding favor for a Vintage Christmas themed wedding. Using several  widths of laces & trims from the shop I just did a straight stitch on them like I do when making some fun fabric flowers. I did a layer for the back... next I added a snowflake ornament I purchased last year from the dollar tree, then feathers and last the fabric flower. I included a rose and rhinestone embellishment and seam binding for the hanger. I attached a beautiful crystal to dangle. Lastly I finished the back using a shimmer card stock with a disk I punched out with a round punch... this would be a great place to also include the bride & groom's name and their wedding date :-)

Hey Ya'll....
This month at Gone Artsy the theme is Music!... and anyone who knows me, KNOWS I LOVE Elvis!!! So today I have recreated a Clipboard similar to one I did for a swap last year... My Swap partner at the time is also a HUGE Elvis Fan too!!! So just using a clip board from Staples, some scrap black material and the gorgeous products from Gone Artsy... away I went recreating this fun project! I just simply attached the scrap material with some mod podge. Next I added a piece of the Music Note Embroidered Lace Trim over it. Once it all dried I then added some of the

Silver Toned Diamond Wrap Mesh Bling. I then took a piece of scrap satin ribbon and ran along the edge of the where the mesh bling and lace joined together. I then added one of the rosettes from the Cream Chiffon Rose Trim with Dark Glitter Edging ... smooshed it together as I gluede it down... I think the colors of it go so well with the pic I printed off of Elvis and the jacket he wore when the pic was made... This is probably my favorite picture of him that I have ever seen. Next I used a gorgeous Long Floral Applique. Lastly I had the beginnings of a fabric flower started using the Ivory Crochet Flower Trim  and ended up not using it for a previous project so I just saved it for when the time was right... I then attached it to a 4.7" White Three Dimensional Round Flower Doily  and then glued it to the clip of the clip board. Lastly I included a beautiful piece of bling from the 5 Piece Mixed Brooches to the center of the fabric flower. Just a fun keepsake project for a FAN to set on an easel and enjoy!!!

This month our theme is musical....
The one thing I love is music notes... music was a big part of my high school days and yes I am the generation of the HAIR BANDS... the ROCKIN' 80's... lol!!!
Since Wednesday's are our featured wedding projects I used the

Music Note Embroidered Lace Trim to create a beautiful garter... using the Ivory Crochet Ruffle Stretch Lace... one of my favs and perfect for a project like this, I sewed the two pieces together. Then I come back over and sewed on some Seam Binding in the black. Next I used some more Seam Binding in white and made a bow. I also snuck in some of the gorgeous White Ostrich Feather Trim . Lastly I added the beautiful Metal Pearl and Rhinestone Heart Ribbon Slide and a vintage style microphone from my stash!!!

~~**Fall Banner**~~

https://goneartsy.zibbet.com/

This month's theme is Fall/Harvest...
So I have created a "fall" Vintage Style Banner. Using some of the Mimi Brown and White Seam Binding to join the canvas triangles together... I used sections of the beautiful Scalloped Doubled Edge Venice Lace... Next I used some of the adorable acrylic leaves from the beaded trim... after all what is fall without leaves :). Ten using the dangles from one of the Dangle Laces I snipped off and attached 3 "dangles" to each panel of the banner. I also used some of the beautiful bling from the shop and beads from the gorgeous beaded lace collar to embellish more at the tails of the panels. Lastly I had some of the fun chip board letters in brown that worked great with the color scheme that I used pop dots to attach with so I could have that 3D effect :)

Please remember we will be closed until October 15th with the exception of only being able to ship our newest kit which is just beautiful.

I had this simple plain burlap bag laying around that needed some love... lol! So I decides to dress it up with some of the gorgeous laces from Gone Artsy... using the Double Edged Wild Flower Lace Trim and the Ivory Crochet Flower Trim  I added both of these to the bottom. As I glues each one down I "scrunched" them together to give a more gathered look.. I added a piece from my stash to finish the top of the laces. Next I added a piece of lace that comes on the gorgeous Vintage Style Faux Pearl Lace Collar Necklace... I love this collar, there is so much you can use from it on so many projects. Then I added a section of the beautiful Ivory Large Rosette With Sequin Leaves Lace/Trim to give it just an extra touch! This is great to use as a gift bag, for a bride to give gifts for her bridesmaids, even great to place your napkin and silverware in to place on a plate at a fun girls get together like a tea party or garden party. It adds the right amount of feminine!
