Hey there friends... Today I have a wedding piece using the 14" x 6" Laser Cut Wood Sign "Mr & Mrs" - GA536 from Gone Artsy. This nice piece is perfect for the DIY Bride to decorate as she'd like or even what the Groom would want. Great for the bridal table, set along side the guest book or even at the gift table. Using the 4 ounce Perfect Paper Adhesive Gloss Finish - GA690... I applied it working in small sections with a sponge brush. Next I would then sprinkle on the Signature Cinnamon Toast Glass Glitter Medley - GA642. I did this all over the laser wood piece until I had the desired coverage, again working in small sections. Once dry I then randomly applied many of the Frank Garcia Memory Hardware: Remnant Fragments - GA1038, in the copper tone. After those dried I went all over the piece with more of the 4 ounce Perfect Paper Adhesive Gloss Finish - GA690 to seal the completed work. I then went completely around the edge of the sign with gimp trim... I used the Brown Gimp Trim for this. Lastly I made bows and attached a "hanger" with some of of the beautiful seam binding in Tropic Wine.

NOTE: I used 2 bottles of the Signature Cinnamon Toast Glass Glitter Medley - GA642

I created a fun wedding cake topper, a Pinterest inspired project, using the 2 of the adorable Prima Marketing-Relics And Artifacts Archival Cast: Finch's... these also have an eye hook, great for making ornaments. Using the raffia nests that come with them, I sprayed it using the Lilac Inkadinkado spray ink... FYI the shop now carries inks and sprays... I just used what I had on hand as they are mew to the shop. I scrunched is up and with cutting and glues I attached it to a piece of Styrofoam. Using some glue I went around the edge of the glass, that I purchased at Dollar Tree by the way, and sprinkled Green Glory Blend Glitter Glass on the glue all around the rim. I them made a few bows in coordinating peacock colors using some the the lovely seam binding. I attached a couple of the   that I also sprayed with the Lilac Inkadinkado spray ink, and with some mulberry flowers to the stem of the glass.

I attached some tulle for the veil and added some rhinestones from the beautiful Five Row Pearl and Rhinestone Stretch Bracelet, that can be cut apart and used for projects or used for a lovely wrist corsage. Around the stem I added some of the Silver Toned Diamond Wrap Mesh Bling.

All through out I added more mulberry flowers, some ribbon roses, pearls and pearl sprays from my stash. I also added in a 22mm Pearl and Rhinestone Oval Cabochon and a gorgeous Faceted Glass Tear Drop Jewel. Lastly I added in a set of beautiful 10-12" Natural Peacock Feathers.

Today I have done a fun notebook and altered pen project that is totally inspired by my former DT Sister Christy... Using the Fabscraps "Milkshake Collection" I made a fun mini notebook... perfect for that nostalgic friend or student. I love anything 1950's so I knew had to create with this fun collection. I used the 4x6 chipboard, other sizes are available, to make the front and back cover. Using Scor-Tape from the shop for my adhesive on this project... there are several widths available. I adhered the cardstock to the chipboard. I love this chipboard too, it is a nice thick grade. next i added some of the adorable shoe brads to the front and 2 shades of seam binding down the wire spine. Before using my Cinch to bind it together I distressed the edges some using Tim Holtz' Vintage Photo which is now available in the mini's along with several other colors too. Lastly I took a pen, wrapped it in seam binding and added one the foam flowers to the top... an FYI, these pens are easy peasy and make great party favors for a bridal shower. If you do any games that consist of writing, just give your guests a pen and afterwards they get to keep it :)!!!

This is a Pinterest DIY inspired project by max & me using products from Gone Artsy... be sure to check out their blog for more FAB projects. Now when I first this I knew I had to do one for myself. This can be a great item to hang in the car, or the Christmas tree... the themes for this project are endless and a great craft project to do with the kids... SO AGAIN, be sure to check out max & me to learn how to create this.

I created a grid on my Silhouette CAMEO cutting machine (or you can draw out a grid on your paper and cut with your favorite scissors or rotary cutter) to cut the paper from the DoCrafts Papermania Madame Payraud Paper Pack - GA545 in 2 cm x 2 cm squares... from this pack I used a total of 6- 6x6 sheets in 3 different patterns. Next taking the Bead and Gem Gripper Tool with Four Prongs - GA481... a FABULOUS tool and one of my favorite tools ever... I was so glad Deb got it in the shop... using the tool I placed the end of it onto the center of the square, brought the corners drown over the tip of it and just gave it a scrunch around the tip of the tool. Then I just added a drop of hot glue, took the "scrunched" square and placed it on the glue... HINT: I used the tip of the tool to push the square into place and hold it down till adhered to the ball... this tool was a life saver doing this project not to mention its actual use with beads and gems... I MUST HAVE!!

NOTE: once I completed gluing the individual 2 cm x 2 cm squares onto the foam ball I used the Tim Holtz Vintage Photo distressing ink all over.. I went in one direction moving around the ball... and once I completed it all over I then repeated going the opposite direction for more coverage.

I altered the cool Wooded Spool from the Gone Artsy shop... With July being the birthday month of our great country I kept with a Patriotic them. This is just a fun jazzy Americana style piece or great would even be great to use for a table setting at a Military style wedding for table numbers. I used the awesome glass glitters to give it some sparkle... this stuff is so cool! I then embossed some cardstock using a stars embossing folder and glued it around the center of the spool. Next I added some of the beautiful gimp trim. Around the center I used one of the five strand from the gypsy cording... this stuff is an awesome buy. You get 5 yards of five different cording to use all together or individually... heck just pick and choose the ones you want to use together :). From my stash I added bit and pieces of items and metals. I had a rusty metal star that I added some of the glass glitter to. Keeping in mid of starts I attached one of the beautiful star embellishments from the shop. Lastly I took some wire and shaped it in fun shapes and added some of the fun American brads.. just one of many brads in the shop... be sure to check them all out!!! Added some seam binding to the back to hid the mechanics and a button from my stash that I ran some more of the gypsy cording through. I used an old playing card that I grunge up... a great recycling idea to use for table numbers!!!

I altered a wine glass using some of the beautiful, sparkly Signature Pink Sunrise Glass Glitter Medley - GA649 all along the stem. I used Journey Glaze to adhere it and gave it a second dusting for good coverage. Next I sealed it also with the Journey Glaze. NOW, I am LOVING this... way better then regular glitter... once I sealed the glass glitter it still has its beautiful luster. Next I added a simple bow I made with the May Arts Ivory/Rose Sheer Pull Ribbon (GA378). Added some some rosebuds and a pearl... I wanted to keep it simple cause the glass glitter is soo pretty! Then I added a Silver Toned Wine Glass Charm/Earring Hoop Rings - (Set of 12 (GA34)... Next, to that I added some beads and pearls I had left from a previous product from the shop... the Vintage Style Pearl/Lace Collar, this is no longer available, but you can check it out (((HERE)))

A simple project great for the bridesmaids, a centerpiece for a wedding or baby shower... even create a lampshade and add a battery operated candle for a night light to any little girls room... or heck to enjoy your own favorite beverage!!!
